Beth Crowder, RA - Associate

As a Project Architect, Ms. Crowder is responsible for the supervision of working drawing production and specifications, quality control, and coordination of sub-consultants for a wide variety of projects throughout their development and execution. Space planning and interior design work are additional tasks she performs.

Professional

With over twenty-five years experience in all phases of project delivery and an emphasis on educational, institutional and municipal projects, Ms. Crowder has excellent capabilities in renovation, problem solving, design and programming as well as construction administration. Since joining Hopke & Associates in 1993, projects of note on which she participated include the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center at the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg Regional Library Addition, Renovations and Interiors, and the James City Williamsburg Community Center Renovations and Interiors as well as St. Olaf Catholic Church.

Personal

Growing up as an Army daughter, Ms. Crowder enjoyed international travel and called a variety of places home. Her family’s final military assignment brought her to Fort Monroe, Virginia. She has maintained strong ties to Fort Monroe with frequent visits to the Chapel of the Centurion and Summer Continental Army Band Concerts.  Ms. Crowder is a mother of three. When not attending her children’s events, she enjoys flower gardening, biking, and tennis.
