Project Role: Principal-in-Charge

Responsibilities:

As Principal-in-Charge, Mr. Hopke represents the team and coordinates communications and workflow to ensure adherence to the owner's program and schedule.He is also the chief designer, providing design and project management expertise through all phases of a project.

Background:

A lifelong resident of the Williamsburg area, Mr. Hopke established the firm in 1990, and has guided its growth into one of the area's most respected midsize firms. With a strong dedication to the firm's presence in the local community, he has experience in a range of project types. Steady professional growth can be attributed to a practiced commitment to proven production techniques and a devotion to ongoing quality improvement. His attention to the finer details has resulted in a history of strong client followings, frequent referrals and continuous institutional relationships including The College of William & Mary, Williamsburg-James City County Schools, James City Service Authority and James City County Parks and Recreation, and the City of Williamsburg.
